How to Create a Profile for Becoming a Consultant on VirtUp?
To create a profile on VirtUp, click on this https://VirtUp.com/ link.
1. Once you click this link, you will land on the page as shown in the screenshot below.
2. If you want to log in as a consultant, click on the blue highlighted button indicated as “consultant” and then choose the tab, “I am a consultant.”
3. Create an account first to become a consultant with VirtUp. Signup by adding an email address and creating a password, and then press the Sign-up button.
4. The verification mail request page appears right in front of you. Visit your provided email ID and click on the verification link.
5. Click on your name and then start adding your profile details to complete your profile page – the very first step to becoming a consultant with VirtUp.
Add your name (first and last name) > country > state > city > zip code > mobile number > your expertise categories > and respective skillsets.
If you are referring someone, you can add the referral code by clicking on the ‘have a referral code tab’ and then by adding the details to it.
6.Add your address details – country, state – city – zip code – mobile number. Remember, you can add up to 10 categories and 15 skillsets. Next, click on the Continue tab to move to the next screen.
7.Incorporate your profile picture (in PNG/JPEG/JPG) in a format of 300 x 300 and a size limit of 10 MB – your face speaks a lot about you!
8.Incorporate your tagline and a bit about yourself in 500 characters. Catch the reader’s attention with your little description. You need to put all the details in there. Use 500 characters to their maximum potential.
9. After filling out the above information, click on the “continue’ tab. At this point, you will get a pop-up, and you can either choose to visit your dashboard or continue with your profile creation process.
The Next Steps to Become a Consultant with VirtUp

10. Incorporate your portfolio, education, certification, languages, experience, and social presence details.
Also, if you want, you can skip these segments easily. But you must try to add all the details and information to ensure your profile visibility scope is optimum.
Start uploading your portfolio details (images, title, description, and link). Add a shareable link to ensure clients can explore your work.
11. Add your education details. If you want to add more education details, then click on the Add More section. To become a consultant, you must add all your education details here.
12.If there are any certifications done, you can add those too.
If you have more certifications to add, click on the ‘add more’ option. You can also skip the segment if you don’t have any certifications.
13. What languages are you good at? More than one? It is not necessary to be proficient in more than one language to become a consultant with VirtUp. But if you know more languages, you can pick projects from across the world.
Add all those languages you know, and in the adjacent tab, indicate the proficiency level.
If you know just one language, you can add that and then click on the Continue tab.
If all these details are obvious from your portfolio, then you can skip this segment too.
14.Incorporate your experience (job title, names of companies where you have worked previously or currently, start and end dates, and a description of your earlier work profile).
Add more job experience if you have more than one. Skip it, only if your portfolio has it all.
The Last Step of the Profile-Become a Consultant – Add Your Social Handles!
15. In the next segment, add your website link as well as your social profile details for becoming a consultant.
Add the links and keep them together for your clients to explore your capabilities and credibility.
Add your LinkedIn, FaceBook, Instagram, and website links.
If you have some other profiles, you can click on the add button to add them too.
Click on the Submit tab to get your profile into our database.
Once you have submitted your profile, you will be automatically taken to your dashboard.
You could also set up a banner image, add details around your expertise within your profile by clicking on the “Add Banner Image” tab.
